2026

• MUA writes to Rt Hon Liam Byrne MP, highlighting MUA's concerns regarding the scale of proposed price increases, Royal Mail's quality of service performance and the need for greater regulatory scrutiny.
• MUA writes to Rt Hon Jonathan Reynolds - Secretary of State for Department of Business, Innovation, Science and Technology (DBIST), setting out Members' concerns at Royal Mail pricing strategy and seeking Government intervention.
• MUA's Board writes to Rt Hon Liam Byrne MP - Chairman of the Business & Trade Select Committee in relation to the continuing poor delivery performance of Royal Mail.

2025

• MUA responds to Ofcom's 'Call for Input' on its Review of Regulation - Pricing & Affordability.
• MUA's Board writes to Blair McDougall MP - Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State - Department of Business & Trade, Gareth Davies MP Shadow Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Fergal Farragher - Policy Director - Ofcom, and Richard Travers MD - Letters & Revenue Integrity Royal Mail Group, to request meetings to discuss industry concerns over Royal Mail's delivery performance, pricing strategy and the revised USO arrangements.
• MUA responds to Ofcom's Review of the Universal Postal Service and other Postal Regulation consultation.

2024

• Letter to Ofcom - MUA writes to Tim Cross - Principal - Networks & Communications Group - Ofcom, to emphasise the needs of large volume mailers ahead of the regulator's planned review of the USO.
